Michael is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and Mannes College of Music. He is a passionate performer and teacher of the flute, piccolo and baroque flute having worked with students from the US and abroad. He has performed with New Jersey Festival Orchestra, Camerata New Jersey, Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony in C, Aspen Festival Orchestra, the Arch Sinfonia, Orquesta Sinfónica Freixenet del Encuentro, World Peace Orchestra, the Nash Ensemble, and on Broadway. Michael has appeared in many concerts and recitals at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Discovery Time Square, the Count Basie Theatre among others and has played at international festivals including the Santander Encuentro, Orford Arts Centre, Aspen Music Festival, Mannes Sounds Festival and Phoenicia International Festival. Michael received the Jo Weinburg Award from the Royal Academy of Music with the Bachelor of Music and LRAM teaching diploma. He is a former prize winner of the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition and an Altus Performing Artist.
