Ms. Linda Lie

Ms. Linda’s educational philosophy focuses on educating the whole child. She believes in maintaining a fine balance between technical mastery and providing a fulfilling musicianship experience by concentrating on the importance of acquiring technical skills, fundamentals and artistry along with accomplishing each student’s personal goals.  Her students have won first place in Crescendo Music Competition, achieved superior plus rating in American College of Musicians,  performed in NYSSMA, NJSLA, Golden Key, and other Arts Festivals, as well as partaking in the London College of Music Examinations.  

Ms. Linda was selected into an accelerated five year Bachelor and Master Degree in Music Performance and Education program from City University of New York.  She studied under Jon Klibonoff and spent a summer working with composer Richard Einhorn.  Ms. Linda is a New York and New Jersey State Certified public school educator (K-12).  She is well disciplined in Orff-Schulwerk and Kodaly pedagogy.
