Ms. Elisabed Imerlishvili

Master of Music, Piano Performance, University of Northern Iowa


Elisabed’s musical education and training started in the midst of 1999-2003, when she graduated with her Master’s degree, as well as her Post Graduate Studies, in Piano Performance at Tbilisi State Conservatoire located in Tbilisi, Georgia (former Soviet Union). She then continued her studies at Indiana University South Bend (IUSB), where she became a member of the esteemed Toradze Piano Studio in 2008. Later, she graduated with Artist Diploma (2010) and Performer Diploma (2012), for Piano Performance. Within her time at IUSB, she also became a Piano Accompanist, for the Voice Studio of Professor Mayer.

Elisabed later received a full ride scholarship beside a full time Graduate Assistantship at University of Northern Iowa (UNI), from 2015-2017. There, she worked as a pianist and performed at the Opera productions, as well as worked at an Opera Performance class lead by Opera Director, Dr. Sadeghpour. She continued to work as an accompanist, for the Voice Studio of Dr. Osborne (with individual lessons as well as, performance labs). In 2015, she was awarded the first prize at the UNI Instrumental Concerto Competition. In 2016, she performed F. Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor with the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, she graduated with a Master of Music in Piano Performance at UNI.

Other accomplishments worth noting:

  • She was granted the certificate in recognition of receiving the Martin Piano Fellowship from the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts at IUSB.

  • She was awarded the laureate title and prize at Markopulon International Piano Competition in Greece (2000).
